Norman Valentine Petersen
1910-1999
Our dear friend Norman Petersen passed away on January 22 at the age of 88. Part of our family, Norman brightened up a room just by entering. A wake was held at the restaurant, on Valentine's Day, his birthday. Around 80 people attended. A piper played Amazing Grace and, after a few words were said, "To All the Girls I Loved Before" was played while a Budweiser Girl passed around trays of Old Crow for the toast. The people that had cared for Norm were presented with boquets of flowers in thanks for helping him through the last difficult year. Stories were swapped, eyes got misty and we said goodbye to our friend .
