The Sugarplum Park
Gingerbread Fantasy

In 1984 Jock McCoy designed a masterpeice that
truly encapsulated joy and wonder
for the holiday season

The park had a working roller coaster,
ferris wheel, and carousel, each with it's own soundtrack; a marching elf band that made a complete circuit of the park; and an army of elves (provided by the Elf Factory under Gary Post's supervision) "attending" the park.

The Gingerbread House,
seen over the candycane archway,
was modeled after the
Carson Mansion in Eureka.

The real reason Jock's elves
worked for months on the project.
